Kit are shipped within 5 business days of submitting a kit request. You should expect to receive your kit within 3 weeks of your request.

I typically get my screenings through my primary care provider. Should I complete this test?2020-03-03T20:57:45+00:00

Completing the test through this campaign will not prevent or affect your ability from receiving any healthcare service from your regular primary care provider. You may continue to screen with your primary care provider, through this campaign or both. The advantage of screening through the campaign is that the kit is sent to your home

If you are not due for your follow up colonoscopy, you are in compliance with screening guidelines and this test is not necessary. However, there are still some advantages to completing a FIT. For example, studies show that completing an annual FIT in between colonoscopy allowed asymptomatic patients to detect cancer up to 2 years earlier. Your plan will cover the cost of your test if you choose to complete the test.

A portal link to view your reports is sent to the email address on file once results are available. Results are typically available within one week after the lab receives the kit and will also be shared with your plans care team.

No. ColonCancerScreeningKit.com does not require a referring or primary physician for the test. However, if PCP information is provided, we will send a copy of your report to them.

There is no out of pocket cost to plan members. The cost of the Fecal Immunochemical Test is covered at 100% and you are not required to submit any claims.

Screening for colorectal cancer for all adults is recommended to begin at age 45 by The National Cancer Institute and American Cancer Society. FIT can be completed yearly to stay current with screenings.
