Return kit: Once you have collected your samples, place them into the prepaid envelope provided along with your information form and mail them to the lab for development.
Receive reports: The samples are developed by The Assist Health Group and a link to view the reports are sent by email.

If you are not due for your follow up colonoscopy, you are in compliance with screening guidelines and this test is not necessary. However, there are still some advantages to completing a FIT. For example, studies show that completing an annual FIT in between colonoscopy allowed asymptomatic patients to detect cancer up to 2 years earlier. Your plan will cover the cost of your test if you choose to complete the test.
